One of my colleagues take hashtag#emergencyleave (EL) today.

I don’t know the reason as she notify the EL to our HR manager directly.

But out of curiosity, i will normally ask our HR the reason.

Why?

Everyone has real-life responsibilities besides works that couldn’t wait.

We are human. They face everyday challenges, just like you and me.

And I believe I give her the space they need to solve those challenges, they’ll come back stronger.

Of course, I will ask any assistance required once she is back from EL. Make yourself available and listen.
