KTP & Company PLT

As a new recruit in hashtag#ktp , what would you do during the first 6 months of your employment :

1. Build strong relationships:
Engage positively with your immediate boss, department head, colleagues, subordinates, and senior professionals. This networking lays a solid foundation for your career at KTP. Please! Don’t eat lunch alone.

2. Role-Specific integration:
If your role is specialized, like a auditor/tax agent, expect to start your work to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of your duties and responsibilities. Bring your university accounting, auditing and tax books or notes.

3. Seek mentorship:
Proactively look for a coach or mentor. Their advice can be crucial in helping you navigate your new role and the organizational culture. Read and watch our SOP before asking them.

4. Align on KPIs
Discuss and agree on your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with your Superior. Sign off on these to have a clear understanding of your performance goals.

5. Seek feedback on monthly appraisal
Spend time to review your past performance in the month. Document the journey, identify the weakness and outline improvement in coming months with your mentor and superiors.

6. Understand company policies
Familiarize yourself with the company handbook, focusing on codes, standards, policies, and work ethics. This knowledge is essential for integrating seamlessly into the KTP work culture.

7. Learn tools and software
Get comfortable with the specific tools and software your office uses. Seek help or training if needed.

8. Take orientation weeks seriously
Use the orientation period to deeply understand the company’s culture, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), performance expectations, key performance indicators (KPIs), HR policies, ISQM and other relevant matters.

This foundational knowledge is crucial for your career’s success and integration into the team.
