I used to do it before the lockdown for about two years because I wanted to climb high mountains that are over 6,000 meters tall.
However…
I found rock climbing to be quite boring and it didn’t excite me much. It is not my cup of coffee.
It’s true that rock climbing helped me with my two above 6000 meter mountaineering trips in Nepal I learned a few techniques along the way.
Despite this, I have completely stopped rock climbing from MCO until now.
I am still officially a member of a rock climbing club, and they even keep a locker for my climbing gear.
The only times I go rock climbing these days are when I am with my daughter or with my hashtag#ktp office staff.
Besides those times, I have officially quit rock climbing.
But, I still have a goal.
I want to climb Ama Dablam, a very technical mountain that’s under 7,000 meters in Nepal.
To achieve this, I might need to improve my rock climbing skills to a higher level.
