Hey everyone! 🎾

Today was a first for me—I played at the Nusa Duta Tennis Complex’s indoor court because of the rain. I usually hit the courts at Palm Resort at 8 AM, but today was a little different.

A little trip down memory lane: I picked up tennis in my early twenties, and that was about 35 years ago. I got back into it recently because my daughter wanted to play in 2023.

Back then, my go-to spots were the Lido and Perling tennis courts. Not many players and coaches around.

Fast forward to today, and wow—the courts at Nusa Duta are top-notch and super well-kept.

It’s impressive!

It was a busy morning with loads of coaches and players around, which really surprised me.

And guess what?

I ran into a senior coach who’s been there since I first started—35 years back!

The courts were so good today that I managed to beat my coach with ease, 6-2.

It’s incredible to see how much tennis has grown here in Johor.

Oh, and if you’re wondering why I carry three hashtag#tennis racquets… I sweat a ton, so I need to switch them out when the grips get too slippery.
