Dear Colleagues
I don’t handle interviews anymore; my HR manager and audit/tax managers take care of that now.
Imagine my surprise when I bumped into a new intern in the common area on her first day of working. I greeted her with a “Good morning” and asked, “Do you know who I am?” To my shock, she had no clue.

Seriously though, it made me wonder if she even bothered to read anything about us.
But it is our interview policy that always ask candidates to review KTP’s social media and write a reflection on the firm before any interview.
Please, do your homework on the firm you want to work with.
Know what we do and who I am. All the information you need is out there—we’re quite active on Facebook, Telegram, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Newcomers, do proactively create a positive first impression. KTP is neither very big nor very small. Missing the opportunity to introduce yourself professionally means you lose a competitive edge.
Trust me, you don’t want to be remembered as the one who didn’t know the boss!
This same goes for seasoned auditors/tax agents.
Imagine working in a client’s meeting room when an uncle aka the boss walks in and greets you, and you have no idea who he is. Really malu (embarrassing).
Welcome to the reality of the business world. First impression matter!
