My fellow new auditor/tax agent in KTP :
Mistakes are part of life, especially in your early years in audit.
But here’s the truth—how you deal with them matters more than making them.

Many of us have some misconceptions when it comes to handling errors, and it’s time to set the record straight.
Do you expect a pat on the back for every slip-up? Or think you can talk your way out of every mistake?
Let’s get real.
✅ Expecting Kindness
We often think everyone should be nice to us when we err. But remember, no one is obligated to be kind when you make a mistake.
If someone is, be thankful. Don’t expect smiles when you cause problems.
✅Stop Justifying, Start Fixing
Sometimes, we waste time justifying our mistakes instead of fixing them. Stop using your creativity to explain the unexplainable. People notice your errors.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of explaining away mistakes, wasting time on excuses when you should be correcting them.
It’s easy to point fingers, but everyone knows the truth.
So, take ownership. Recognize where you went wrong, fix it, and most importantly, learn from it.
Avoid these mindsets. Admit your mistakes, fix them, and learn.
