KTP & Company PLT

At KTP, Friday is not just the end of the week.
It’s the beginning of growth.

For the past month, our colleagues gathered every Friday.

Not for makan. Not for meeting.
But for training.

Yes — real, focused, technical training.
Short sessions. Straight to the point.
Practical knowledge for everyday tax and audit work.

Week 1: Income Basics
We kicked off with the foundation of tax.
Capital vs. revenue receipts.
What is taxable, what is not?
Simple questions, tricky answers — now crystal clear.

Week 2: Rental Income
We zoomed in on rental income.
Who needs to report?
What fees are deductible?
No more guesswork for our team.

Week 3: Advance Income
Ever billed a client before the job is done?
This session explained how to treat advance income.
Concepts with case studies — solid and practical.

Week 4: Small Deductions, Big Impact
Medical expenses. Secretarial fees. Website costs.
What can you claim?
What will LHDN reject?
We learned the difference in just 22 minutes.

Week 5: Bad Debts & Commissions
When can you write off bad debts?
Are commissions always deductible?
We explored these with real examples.
Short session, big learning.

Week 6: MBRS 2.0 & Audit Exemption
Our longest session — 3 full hours.
We learned to fill MBRS templates, convert XBRL files, and lodge online.
Then came audit exemption:
3 phases, eligibility criteria, and unaudited FS.
Trained by aBOT — our digital buddy.

This is what KTP believes in:
We don’t wait for seminars.
We don’t rely on YouTube.
We train ourselves. Every week.

Our HR lead.
Our juniors ask.
Our managers give feedback.
Everyone learns.

Because Friday isn’t just about closing the week.
It’s about opening minds.
