KTP & Company PLT

This Wednesday, I attended the MIA webinar on lRobotic Process Automation (RPA) In Accounting: Transforming Audits and Financial Processes

Yes, again.

Same speaker Daryl Aw.

I first listened to him at the ISCA office during MIA’s Singapore visit.

Then once more at an Indonesia-hosted 2 days webinar.

And today, I still showed up.

Why?

Because real change starts from the top.
If I expect my team to take AI seriously, I better walk the talk.

I didn’t attend alone.

I personally selected my managers, back-end support team, and even our IT intern to join me.

Why them?

Because they dare to grow.

They’re willing to step out of their comfort zone.
They don’t give excuses.
They give effort.

Not like the usual fixed mindset crowd.
Always telling me:
• “I get used to the old way.”
• “My method is better.”
• “I’m too busy to change.”
• “I’m too stupid to learn.”

These are the people I keep in the cubicle or refrigerator.

The key takeaways from Daryl’s session:

  1. Upskill staff to use RPA effectively.
  2. Upskill staff to use AI effectively.
  3. Redesign job tasks that are repetitive and non-value-adding.

The next day, I sit down with my IT intern.

Together, we’ll plan how to roll this out—Power Automate, UiPath, VBA, Google Apps Script on top of our current N8N automation roadmap.

Once our peak season is over in September,
I will teach my people how to use RPA tools.

No more excuses.
It’s time to embrace automation.
Not to replace people but to empower them.

Thank you, MIA.
Thank you, Daryl Aw.

Because some things are worth learning not once, not twice…
But three times.
