Last week, I personally interviewed an IT intern.
I rarely do this, but this role was different.
We are about to launch real AI automation projects inside our firm.
Not theory. Not uni assignment. Actual implementation.

Our mission is very simple:
Automate boring and repetitive work in an accounting firm.
Examples:
- Screening job applicants automatically
- Sending bank confirmations with one click
- Reconciling bank statements instantly
We plan to use tools like n8n and UiPath to build AI agents and workflow automation.
Real projects.
Real users.
Real impact.
I know how these tools work.
I know how to automate the workflow myself.
But the truth is this : I don’t have the time to do it.
I need someone young, curious, and hungry to take over the technical execution.
During the interview, the candidate asked:
“Will I be using Python, JavaScript, or Java?”
I told her honestly:
“I’m not a technical person. I like Vibe Coding and drag-and-drop tools. If you join, we can arrange training for you.”
I also shared our plan to analyse mass data inside the firm using Power BI, Google Looker, or Tableau for data visualisation.
These dashboards will help management make smarter decisions, not just rely on Excel and manual checking.
After hearing all this, the candidate asked the same question:
“Will I be using Python, JavaScript, or Java?”
One week later, she rejected our offer.
Reason:
“We don’t use Python or Java.”
I was surprised.
This internship gives real experience in building automation used by auditors and tax teams every day. Most interns only do coding.
But not everyone wants real-world experience.
Some only want programming languages for their résumé.
So let me say this clearly :
If you want to build something people will actually use…
If you want to automate workflows, not just code in a lab…
If you want real responsibility, not photocopying…
Then this internship is for you.
✅ Real AI automation
✅ Real AI agents
✅ Training and mentorship
✅ 6 months
✅ Johor Bahru
We are not looking for the most technical person.
We are looking for someone who learns fast, solves problems, and wants to make an impact.
She walked away from AI automation because we didn’t have Python.
Maybe the next intern will see the opportunity.
If that sounds like you, message me.
We are ready to take the next intern immediately.
