“Miss, we don’t really use JavaScript, Python or Java here at KTP…”
That was the reality.
So when Yaashiniy accepted our IT internship offer, I was genuinely happy.

Because many IT interns want to join a company where they can code in the usual stack straight away.
At KTP, our need was different.
We wanted an IT intern who was willing to learn how to automate workflow with AI in a real accounting firm environment.
Not a glamour project.
Not just theory.
Real work.
Real processes.
Real mess sometimes. 😄
To be fair, this was also not the easiest month to onboard.
The first month was mainly learning by attending many webinars and thousand of YouTube video.
Now after more than one month, my investment in her is not only technical skillset. It is also her mindset.
February was Chinese New Year period.
My focus was honestly… makan makan makan.
But even during the festive season, she still managed to make progress in our backend workflow automation.
That is why I was happy to read her reflection.
Now comes the part that matters most. Put what you learned in KTP into practice, especially with our engagement with an AI consultant.
This is where internship becomes real training.
You can attend courses, watch demos, and learn platforms.
But when you apply it to a live business process with deadlines, people, and constraints, that is where real growth starts.
If you want digital transformation, do not just look for technical talent.
Look for people who are willing to learn the business first, then build the solution.
Tools can be taught.
Mindset and ownership take more effort.
Yaashiniy, good job on your first 4 weeks.
Steady progress. Keep going.
The next 5 months will be less about theory and more about what value we can deliver.
That is the real internship.
