KTP & Company PLT

I just re-finished the “E-Myth revisted” (there is an E-myth for hashtag#accountants too, but I didn’t read that version).

Here are the main points you can learn:

1. Balance Your Roles
Accountants should not just focus on doing accounting work. They also need to think like bosses who plan for the future and managers who organize things.

2. Make a System
It’s important to have a set way of doing things in the accounting business. This makes work easier, faster, and helps the business grow.

3. Plan Ahead
Accountants should make plans for where they want their business to go. This helps them prepare for new opportunities and challenges.

4. Work Smarter
Instead of just doing everyday tasks, accountants should find ways to make their business run on its own. This way, they can focus on growing the business.

Accountants require balancing three roles as each role focuses on different time frames (future, past, and present, respectively) and aspects of the business.

1. Entrepreneur – Visionary, Dreamer, Innovator “Lives in the Future”

2. Manager – Pragmatist, Planner, Organizer“Lives in the Past”

3. Technician – Doer, Thinker“Lives in the Present”
