Recently, we welcomed a new batch fresh graduates to our accounting firm.

My team and I embarked on a thorough training process, but progress was slow.

Despite our efforts, the new colleague struggled with retaining information and rarely sought help when needed.

This has been a reflective learning moment for us. It highlights the importance of tailored training approaches, like :

1. Break down tasks into smaller

2. Produce manageable steps with clear timelines, especially for beginners.

3. Daily planning

4. Instil deadline concept

Understanding that a newcomer grasp of a subject differs significantly from the old days.

Hopefully it is key to creating an effective and supportive learning environment in the workplace.
