At KTP, every newcomer gets a professional headshot. It’s a small but important step—your first official picture as part of the team.
For years, I handled this myself. As a hobby photographer, it was my little side project.

But recently, I decided to pass the camera to someone new.
Christina Tan, from our back-end support team.
Before handing over the task one year ago, I asked her a simple question : “Do you take pictures with your phone?”
Her answer? A firm “No.”
Then she added, “But I want to learn photography.”
That was all I needed to hear.
If someone has the passion to learn, why not teach them?
I bought an online photography course for Christina … her first step into this new skill. But learning theory alone isn’t enough.
I teach her basic photography and videography in handphone and camera.
Last weekend, I personally coached her, one-on-one. Teaching her how to frame a shot, adjust lighting, and capture the best angles and mobile editing.
It was hands-on, fast-paced, and full of trial and error.
And you know what? She picked it up quickly.
She might not be a pro yet, but she’s growing.
This Chinese New Year, I asked her what she wanted to learn. She said calligraphy (书法).
Honestly, I didn’t expect that—an unusual hobby, but why not?
I told her I’d support her, but first, she had to find a teacher. If she did, the company would sponsor her lessons.
This is what we do at KTP.
You don’t need to know everything when you join us. But if you have the drive to learn, improve, and grow, we’ll support you.
Whether you’re an intern, fresh graduate, or experienced hire, the key to success isn’t what you already know—it’s what you’re willing to learn.
Just like Christina stepping into photography, your journey at #KTP can start with zero experience.
But with the right guidance, you can become something more.
Are you ready to grow with us? Join KTP. #wearehiring
