KTP & Company PLT

Every day, just after 12pm, something strange happens at our office.

The phones stop ringing.
The audit team stops ticking.
The tax team stops calculating.

No, it’s not a fire drill.
It’s not the client calling.
It’s not even the boss walking in.

It’s The Question.

“Eh, later eat what?”

You might think we are a firm of audit and tax professionals.
People who deal with numbers, logic, and deadlines.

But when it comes to lunch, all logic disappears.
The reception becomes a mini pasar malam.

Let me break it down for you.

Scene 1: The Speedy Group

This group?
Efficient. Ruthless. Fast.

“Mixed rice and laksa?”
“On.”
“Go.”

Decision made within 1 minute.
They already in the car while others are still fighting over wantan mee vs nasi lemak.

Their strategy?
Rotate 3 places. Decide based on mood.
Don’t overthink. Don’t regret.
Lunch is war. Must act fast.

Scene 2: The Overthinkers

This group is a different species.

They open Grab, scroll endlessly.
Search “Top food in JB” like they’re hosting a VIP client.

“I feel like something spicy, but not too oily.”
“I want rice, but also craving for ramen.”
“Is Secret Recipe having promo?”
“How far is too far ah?”

By 12:15pm, still deciding.
Half the team already eating.
They’re still Googling, TikToking, WhatsApping, ChatGpting

Decision paralysis.
And yes, they repeat this daily.

Scene 3: The Lone Wolves

One of the most mysterious species in the firm.
Silent from 9 to 5.
No lunch group. No invitation needed.

At 12.01pm, they disappear.
At 12:59pm, they reappear.

Where did they go?
Nobody knows.

Nobody dares ask.
They value their lunch solitude like gold.
Some say… they are the happiest ones.

Scene 4: The Stampede

Now this one involves me.

When I appear near reception area, holding or just standing…
No matter how serious the lunch debate is…

They run.
Like a zombie movie

Gone. Vapor. Dissolved.
I should consider using this power during audit peak season.

Moral of the story?

We may file accounts, calculate tax, issue e-invoice and audit group consolidation…

But nothing beats the daily drama of “What to eat today?”
The most difficult question in the working world.
The one question AI also cannot help you with.

Happy lunch hunting, KTP
Remember,
the faster you decide,
the higher your chance of escaping me.

Bon appétit 😎
