I always believe an internship is not just about completing tasks. It is about learning, adapting, and building confidence in a real working environment.
Last month, I sat down with our IT intern, Visalini, for a 20-minute conversation. She shared about her projects, the challenges of handling unfamiliar tools, and the skills she sharpened along the way.

This all started with a simple email from her:
“Good morning Mr Koh, here are the drafted questions for the interview later.”
Ten questions for twenty minutes. On paper it looked straightforward. But to me, those questions reflected something bigger. Preparation, curiosity, and courage.
She wanted to talk about projects, skills, challenges, memories, and even her goals after internship. And during the interview, she spoke openly about her struggles, how she managed her time, and the lessons she picked up in KTP.
She also shared her most unforgettable moment here and how IT can really transform an audit firm.
For many fresh graduates, an internship is the first step into the professional world. It is never easy, but it is always meaningful.
If you are a student or jobseeker planning to join an audit or tax firm, I hope this story gives you courage. Every journey begins with a first step and sometimes that step is an internship.
