When other riders warm up their engines, I’m busy tightening my gloves and on the bike…
Because I know I will reach every destination last.
On the road or in the jungle trail,
I am always the slowest rider.

I started motorbiking only at 50.
Off-road riding came even later, at 55.
Maybe it’s the accountant mindset. prudence is part of my training.
Maybe I am just a law-abiding citizen who wants to stay alive.
Even in a car, I drive like a EPF accountant.
My daughter once said, “Dad, please drive faster a bit!”
My friends don’t even let me take the steering wheel.
Everyone knows I am the safest, slowest driver in the room.
On the highway, bikers say my adventure bike can hit 200 km/h.
I only tried once 180 km/h for 1.8 second and that was enough.
In group rides, bikers wait for me at junctions.
By the time I arrive, they already finish a puff or two.
Some complains, but everybody knows I am turtle.
Off-road is even funnier.
When I lose my group inside the jungle, I honk loudly until somebody answers.
Sometimes I think my horn works harder than my engine.
Two weeks ago, I needed to rush home from Dato Onn factory area with many lorries.
Google said 35 minutes to reach home.
My speed: 40 minutes, BOTH ways.
Dato Onn to home + Home to Dato Onn
OMG! I can be fast.
Some riders look for speed.
Some want adrenaline.
My motto is simple:
慢慢骑,骑到老。
Biar lambat, asalkan selamat.
Ride slow, ride long. Safety first.
