Working in an accounting firm is not only about numbers and deadlines.
Sometimes, it is about …
Shoulders that cannot lift,
Backs that refuse to bend, and
Heads that feel like they are carrying a thousand invoices.

Over the years, I have seen it clearly in my own team.
Shoulder stiff.
Back pain.
Headaches.
Breathless and nervous during peak season.
Some even cough non-stop.
Two months ago, I started practising qigong 氣功.
Every morning, slow breathing, gentle movements, calm mind.
No magic. Just discipline.
My manager, Ms Sqchai, also joined me on qi gong.
I sponsored the class because I want to take care of our people, not only their work.
Last Friday, I took one small step.
I gathered my management team in a small room.
I taught what I learned:
丹田呼吸 : breathing from the lower abdomen
提肛 : tightening the pelvic floor
观想 : quiet visualisation to relax the mind
We stood in a circle and practised together for 1 hour.
Some laughed at themselves.
Some found it difficult.
I reminded them :
I am not a qigong master.
I am definitely not a sifu.
Along the way, I share a simple but powerful 气血要通.
When the body is tense, 气血 becomes stuck.
When 气血 is stuck, pain or sickness appears.
So qigong is not only about movement.
It is about letting the body flow again.
I hope the journey will continue for them.
One breath at a time.
One team practising together.
