Most people don’t care about golf.
But this golf story feels like it was written for anyone who ever struggled quietly.

Anthony Kim (AK) won 3 times before 25.
People spoke about him like the “next Tiger”.
Around 2010 at Augusta National, he was playing on one of the biggest stages in sport…
yet he still needed to slip into the bathroom between holes just to survive the round.
Not because of food poisoning.
Because his life was falling apart.
Drugs. Alcohol.
Then 2012 happened.
Achilles rupture.
And he disappeared for 12 years.
Most people assumed he was enjoying the “retired champion” life.
But the truth was brutal.
He could barely walk into rehab.
His wife and daughter had to help him get in.
Fast forward to 2024.
He got one more shot at LIV Golf.
And it was painful:
Dead last. Zero points. Relegated.
That’s where most comeback stories end.
Not because the person cannot…
but because the person is too embarrassed to keep going.
But AK did something very unglamorous. He kept showing up.
No announcement.
No drama.
Just work.
Qualifiers.
One step at a time.
Then yesterday at the age 40, the most unlikely thing happened.
Five shots behind.
Paired with Bryson and Rahm … two ex-world No. 1 superstars.
AK shoots 9-under and wins.
Let that sink in.
The man who once didn’t want to be alive,
just outperformed two of the best players on the planet.
Sometimes it starts with one boring decision:
Show up again tomorrow. Don’t fxxking quit.
PS : Time to dig out my Nike golf apparel from the closet.
