AI Doesn’t Transform Companies. People Do.

Last Saturday,
I brought two colleagues to attend Ts. Dr. Chan Ler-Kuan AI Productivity Unlocked Class.

To be honest,
Half of the technical terms flew over my head.
😂😂😂

But one sentence caught my attention.
She said,

“The number one success factor for AI transformation is leadership commitment.”
“Not budget.”
“Not tools.”

Inside my heart,

I disagreed.
I thought,
“Without budget, how to buy AI?”

Then I looked at my colleagues.

One was taking notes.
One was asking questions.

Some suddenly realised…
AI is much bigger than Claude, Codex and Kimi, Gemini …

At that moment,
I realised something.
Budget buys AI.
Leadership brings people into the room.

But curiosity…
Is what makes people actually use AI.

I can buy the best tools.
I can pay for every subscription.

But if nobody wants to learn,
Nothing changes.

Looking back,

The biggest lesson I learned wasn’t about AI.
It was about people.

Leadership opens the door.
Curiosity makes people walk through it.
