You heard that right. At KTP, we just crowned our Best Employee Award to an intern … and not just any intern namely Wanjing!

Now, before you start questioning our decision, let me explain why this is probably the most well-deserved award we’ve ever given out.

Wanjing joined us as an intern, but you wouldn’t have known it by the way she carried herself.

From day one, she blended right in with the rest of the team, tackling audit and tax assignments with the focus and independence of a seasoned pro.

And we’re not talking about small cases—some of her assignments involved big fees and even bigger expectations.

By the end of her internship, Wanjing wasn’t just keeping up … she was leading the pack, working independently on critical tasks and gaining the trust of our management team.

And it didn’t stop there. Wanjing didn’t just excel in the office; she joined me recently in conquering a 21km half marathon. Her first half marathon prove she’s not only mentally strong but physically tough too.

So today, I had the honor of presenting her with a RM1,000 cash voucher as a token of appreciation.

But let’s be honest—no amount of money can fully reflect the dedication, resilience, and positive attitude she’s shown throughout her time with us.

To Wanjing … thank you for setting the bar so high and reminding us what’s possible when talent meets hard work.

Never underestimate an intern. Sometimes, they’re the ones who end up outperform our expecatation.
