  • Have You Stamped Your Agreement?

IRB has quietly launched a stamp duty operasi and they’re checking tenancy agreements, related-party contracts, and service agreements. If you’ve signed any agreements but didn’t send them for stamping, it’s time to act. Why? Because from 1 Jan 2026, self-assessment begins under the revised Stamp Act. No more waiting for IRB. You calculate, you pay…

  • E-Invoice Is Coming for Everyone

Yesterday, I joined a webinar on SQL e-Invoicing. Not just any webinar. Even as an approved auditor and licensed tax agent, I walked away feeling unsettled and uneasy. Yes, I already know the fundamentals of e-Invoicing. But I didn’t join the session for theory. I joined because I needed practical, hands-on exposure to how e-Invoice…

  • 2025: Auditors & Tax Agents Under Siege – MBRS & e-Invoice Coming Fast

2025 is a challenging year for professionals like me — auditors cum tax agents. First wave: MBRS 2.0.Second wave: 3 phases of e-Invoice. Both attacking us like tsunami — no time to rest. Here’s what SME bosses need to know: MBRS stands for Malaysia Business Reporting System. It is an online submission platform introduced by…

  • When Managers Become Trainers—That’s When the Magic Happens

Last week, something quietly powerful happened at KTP. Not a major assignment completed. Not a group of clients bidded. But a simple act of leadership that reminded me why I do what I do. It started on Wednesday. Our training room filled up quickly. This time, it wasn’t an external speaker. It wasn’t me. It…
