I just returned safely from 14 days of adventurous motorbiking across Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.
As expected, many people asked the same question.
“How can you leave your firm for so long?”
The honest answer is this.
Because I have a COO who runs the firm as if it were her own.

Adventure has always been part of my life.
On a bicycle.
On a motorbike.
On my feets.
In 2025, I cycle bicycle and rode motorbike Northern Thailand, including the demanding Mae Hong Son route with its thousands of corners.
In 2024, I completed a bicycle touring journey along the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan.
These journeys require focus, endurance, and trust in your preparation.
The same applies to running a firm.
At KTP, the person who makes this possible is my COO, Ms Lim Qiu Hui .
She is not a “middle person” who waits for instructions.
She understands the business deeply from audit, tax, people, and clients.
She knows how decisions are made, and more importantly, why they are made that way.
She protects standards.
Professionalism is non-negotiable.
Working papers must be proper.
Client communication must be clear and respectful.
Deadlines are planned early, not chased at the last minute.
During my entire 14-day trip, she rarely contacted me.
Not because there were no issues.
But because she solved them.
When clients were anxious, she reassured them.
When deadlines were tight, she prioritised calmly.
Only matters that truly required my judgement reached me.
No noise.
No drama.
Just clarity.
That is rare.
She also leads the management team (all home trainned) firmly but fairly.
Expectations are clear.
Feedback is direct.
Support is always there.
Because of that, the team performs even when I am not physically present.
Real control comes from trust.
Real freedom comes from delegation done properly.
My COO gives me something every business owner values but few truly have.
Peace of mind.
While I was riding through unfamiliar roads and crossing borders, I never once worried about KTP.
That confidence did not come from luck.
Ok lah. I admit I am lucky.
It came from years of training, grooming, and mutual trust.
She is not just running the office.
She is carrying the weight of leadership quietly, competently, and consistently.
And that is why I can ride far, stay present on the road, and return to a firm that is stronger than when I left.
I am lucky guy. very lucky one.
