13 April 2026. SSM launched the Kempen Pemulihan Serah Simpan Dokumen Statutori (Compliance recovery campaign). Open from 16 April to 30 September 2026.

The deal is simple.

1. Sign an undertaking (akujanji) with SSM. Commit to bring your overdue filings up to date, OR
2. Apply to strike off if company already tak aktif.

Timeline :
3 months for overdue annual returns and beneficial ownership
6 months for overdue financial statements
3 months to apply for strike off

In return?
Compound reduction 90% to 98.75%. Savings RM900 to RM39,500 per offence.
Plus 6 months exemption from compound offer AND prosecution from the day you sign.
Regulator hands off for half a year.

Lesson here : compliance problem will not disapper automatically. Every year you ignore, tambah lagi.

When regulator open a window like this, don’t wait until September to start. The 3 and 6 month clock start the day you sign, not when campaign start. Sign early, more runway.
